Dr Marek Skoczylas

SURGEON – a specialist in general surgery and gastric balloon treatment.

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Wrocław. His professional interests include laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract, and proctology.

1990-1998 he worked as an assistant in the Department of General Surgery, then at the Endoscopic Surgery Department of the Regional Railway Hospital in Wrocław.

1998-2002 he worked at the General and Oncological Surgery Clinic of the 4 Military Teaching Hospital in Wrocław.

In 2002, he started working at the EuroMediCare private Specialist Hospital in Wrocław. In the years 2005-2009 he was the director of the hospital, then until 2012 the medical director, at the same time, since 2004, he has been the Head of the Department of General and Endoscopic Surgery and the Head of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Laboratory.

A member of many Polish and international scientific societies, including:

Society of Polish Surgeons,
Member of the Board of the Lower Silesian Branch of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology,
European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy,
European Association for Endoscopic Surgery.
